Broadcast was a legendary band who attracted a cult-following in the late 90s and early 2000s. During the prime of their career in 2011, their vocalist Trish Keenan died, which I still think is one of the biggest losses that Indie music has ever faced. The other founding member, James Cargill, just announced today that he’s finally returning to music with a project titled Children Of Alice, which is an homage to Keenan. This project is a collaboration between Cargill, Roj Stevens and Julian House. Their first album will be released February 24th on the almighty Warp Records, who also released Broadcast’s Noise Made by People and Tender Buttons albums.
