Dubstep is so misunderstood. The term itself got dragged through the mud in the early 2000s by big room EDM acts that headline Ultra. Americanized Dubstep is the bastard son of the UK’s interpretation which was has more directly traceable roots to Jamaica. Now it’s 2017 and good un-Americanized Dubstep is hard to come by these days. dBridge out of London blessed with this amazing 2-track release, which channels the best elements Dubstep has to offer. This is the first release off of Sentry Records, so I’m extremely excited to see what they have up their sleeves. Give this a listen, but promise me you’re doing it justice by at least listening on good headphones or speakers.
